It’s good practice and helpful to understand the way the world is run; when you hear rich people like ceos and CFOs tapdancing, you’re getting a window into real power. Who gets to ask questions? Who is given time to talk and about what? How does the market react to the news?

Whether you have 1 share or many more, if you don’t understand the conversations, questions and power structure of the call it doesn’t matter.

Also, many (if not all) corps release their earnings earlier in the day or prior day so call attendees (and you) can digest and then get more out of the call.
