We all tend to misunderstand law and how it’s applied. To be fair, the judge is waiting to see how the feds pursue this. That’s a normal thing, especially in a landmark case like this.
But a court ordered no-show seems a cut and dried arrest warrant.
As per the judgement: “You see, what most Americans simply don’t understand is that the billionaires are the law. If there is a law that they broke, no they didn’t. That is not to say that the law now goes away, it will be applied to you in force if you are not a billionaire.”
Eh, more like “oh God I don’t want to be anywhere near this, feds please take over”
Which is a huge problem. The people who have been tasked with shouldering the difficult decisions of our legislative and judicial systems are derelict of duty.
