I really liked Il Siracusano’s story, and how I couldn’t really tell who was allied with who until close to the end, and how it really fleshed out Lappland as a character.

However, my favourite event is probably Maria Nearl. It holds a very special place in my heart, as it was the first side story I read when I started last summer. It introduced me to my favourite character (the eponymous Maria Nearl), as well as being a tried and true tournament arc, with a ton of behind the scenes drama.

@Xperr7 My favourite would be Nearl Light, especially as I was introduced to MN rerun a week earlier. As a child I really liked stories about knights and weapon of my choice would be sword. Of course you later learn that Knight mean Nobility so it ain’t all white. So story about tournaments where corporate manipulate Veterans, newbies get shafted and infected basically gladiators that try to survive discrimination and associated as plague bearers.Special mention to Children of Ursus vignette.

It’s a toss up between Dorothy’s Vision and Stultifera Navis.

Dorothy’s Vision has the entire simulated world vs reality. At the end of the day Dorothy was really just trying to create an alternative world. With the revelation that those in the simulated world were truly volunteers it puts things into a good perspective to me. Dorothy being the creator and destroyer of her invention solidified Dorothy for me.

SN has all of the seaborn lore going for it and I feel that every time we get a seaborn chapter we are just left with more questions instead of answers. Also a huge Irene simp.

Both of these also lightly touch on the whole fake sky / extra terrestrial thing where we continue to get hints but never answers.

As of now, Lone Trail is the peak. But that’s still in CN, so let me put another:

Break the Ice, for managing to tread in-between religion and governance. Where I came from, it’s a lost cause and there were little materials out there that were without bias, so I appreciate it when I found one. Even if it’s just a story in an anime game. On that note, I found a manga that excellently deal with religion yesterday: Make the Exorcist Fall in Love. Don’t be fooled by the cutesy art style, the author knows what they’re doing. It’s only 40 chapters so far, but a lot of things have changed from the start. Like, is this kind of development allowed in a manga? I was worried that it’s going so fast because it was going to get axed. Thankfully, it’s not.

Walk in the Dust, I love Kal’tsit and this event is basically her lore dump. I’m aware not many like her verbose speech, but I love that part of her. It is kind of understandable for her to speak like that considering time is all that she has and there are always more than three things going on in her head at any moment if only because she had shaken hands with basically everyone on Terra. There’s also that insane Doc x Kal AMV on Youtube that had been deleted, that one actually make me start delving into the lore seriously because I thought the content of the AMV is true (IT’S FURTHEST THING FROM THE TRUTH). Pure fun.

Stories of Afternoon, everyone needs to take a break from all the doom and gloom in the world of Terra.

    There’s more, but I already write a lot, so…
