Well it was. Not fair and equal, but it was. Now it’s plainly only for oligarchs.
You never had democracy. You had “liberal democracy,” which is 95% capitalism with 5% fake democracy substitute thrown in as an afterthought.
If billionaire parasites had the power to destroy your “democracy,” it means you never had democracy in the first place. Democracy means public power… not “billionaire parasite power.”

I was there, I experienced the shitstorm I know what went wrong. I don’t like it, but I’m not so blissfully unaware as to not understand what the actual balance of power is. I’m just not so suicidal as to think that letting the evil bastards have their way will actually lead to a better world in the end. It will lead to another civil war.
