I played the GameCube port (Ep 1 and 2 combined) and 2 was way less interesting than the first one.

One of the first GameCube games I put over 100 hours in. Never even played online, I had a character for myself and one to play with my brother in splitscreen. Fun times!

Till this day, it remains one of the few Dreamcast games that I’ve never really played.
I was a bit afraid of getting sucked into an MMO type game since I have somewhat of an addictive personality, so a game like that might take over my life. 😅

Yeah I feel quite similar, as that’s why I never picked up games like WoW when I got older. I don’t know if this game still holds up today, but it was fun recreation when I was in high school :)

@OutofPrintArchive After Dreamcast there was some stat re-balancing, additional weapons, mags, and quests with the later versions, so you might have a better time with one of those. If you do ever try it, the Blue Burst client for Windows was a free download and Sega doesn’t make people take down free private servers. Blue Burst doesn’t have an offline mode, but its far more accessible than Plus on GameCube. I think Xbox had parity with Ep 1 & 2 on GameCube, but I’m not sure.

Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind.
But with the many hundreds of RPGs that I have yet to play, I’m not sure if I’ll ever get to it now to be honest.
There are way too many coming out even now for me to keep up with the ones I want to play, let alone all the past ones I still want to go back to.
