I’m guessing the joke is three big guys trying to enter that tiny door at the same time? (sorry, I’m only vaguely familiar with the term “galoot”)
No, “galoot” is a term of affection, like, “How are ya, ya big galoot?” It doesn’t really mean anything. The joke is that there would be a convention of people who are called galoots, and that they’re all overweight guys. Just more absurdity.
