When I see this, I think of the numbers of visits and unique users that generated traffic on Reddit to make this happen and I cringe a little. They all fell in Reddit’s trap and they don’t even know it. They made the Place event to inflate traffic numbers ahead of the IPO. What you come to do doesn’t show in a traffic count, just that you were there so you would see the ads there.

While I appreciate the sentiment, I’m still more satisfied knowing I haven’t logged in or visited since RIF was killed off.
