Sorry for the list style, but I’m not native English speaker and I have trouble writing longer stories
- a coworker’s of mine chold gets sick
- she takes home office
- she gets sick too
- she has to stay at home for longer than assumed homeoffice
- she’s very active and feels like in prison
- she uses the first excuse possible to go out - she takes her dog to a vet
- at the vet, there’s a woman sitting next to her
- the woman says “wait a minute… this dog… one paw shorter, no tail, eye disease, it is YOU”
- turns out the woman knows the dog, it belonged to her friend, disappeared and was missing for years
- she pulls out the smartphone and BAM, she has the photos of the very same dog
- the dog responds to his old name and seems friendly to the woman, thus strengthening the validity of the story
- the woman says that the dog had problems with this and that, spills plenty of random facts about it, some important for his health, that the current owner didn’t know about
The story doesn’t end here, but it should be enough to fit this community, I think.
“What are the odds?”, one could ask…
