They list:

  • Toronto – Ontario
  • Boston – Massachusetts
  • Minneapolis/Saint Paul – Minnesota
  • Detroit – Michigan
  • Philadelphia – Pennsylvania

They, however, don’t list my favorite rumored group, the Denver, Colorado group.

I see Minnesota and Philly as the best soccer markets in this list, but Toronto is huge so that’s good too. I hope they’re sensible about expansion. Whatever is going on in the MLS is laughable. It dilutes the talent and money pool to have leagues this large and just makes the talent run regardless of what ultimatum you dangle in front of them.

p.s. unlike Reddit, you can edit your titles after posting :)

I would be a little disappointed if it were Toronto only because I would rather see a separate Canadian woso league, and then play them in a Champion’s League – I think it’s kinda weird that the Impact, Whitecaps and Toronto are in MLS when there’s the CPL, but it’d be really hard to fix now.

      p.s. thanks! I totally didn’t even notice!

Oh, good call. I didn’t even think of that. I think cross league competitions is something we aren’t used to, but would give amazing lift and visibility.
