What were they smoking when calling it a “smart ring” in the article? This is basically a very small watch on someone’s finger.

I think i love it. I have to use a timer and stopwatch a lot at work, as well as write down times.

I write with my left hand and throw with my right, which leads to using both hands interchangeably for a lot of tasks. I scrape watchfaces quite often when I get out of position by using a different hand in a weird scenario.

      Plz let it be cheap!

Their smart ring looks strange. Like a image GenAI hallucination that put a classical Casio watch on a finger.

That’s… One of the weirder looking things I’ve ever seen…

What is this, a ring for elephants? It needs to be at least three times smaller/thinner.

So innovative! I’ve grown tired of having to use the thing on my wrist to time things. Who’d have thought of sticking in your finger!?!

I don’t get it, ring watches have been around for like 30+ years. Besides it lighting up, not sure why it is worth more than the $5-10 ones I can buy now.

    I don’t hate this idea…

    But that ain’t it

Something that just does symbols from the surface of just below to tell me time, weather, and maybe a single play pause type button on tap would be interesting though.
