I’ll say this, keep solar as a backup, or way overbuild what you need on turbines. Low power, causing pump jacks and steam generation to slow, can cause a negative feedback loop and crash your power!
Why not use solar? It’s still very efficient with higher solar output then other planets.
Solar is good! But it’s still space consuming, and Vulcanus is a bit space constrained due to the lava.
