From the wont angle it looks like Mox and Chuck are a team. Casual viewers need to be able to quickly identify who’s who in a matchoke this and I feel like they could have done much better.
Definitely. This used to be a major pet peeve of Taz’s back in the Dark days.
I can understand there being limitations on Dark where you have performers who may only have so much gear available or with them. Yes I can understand what’s going on but my friends trying to get back in to wrestling can’t, especially in a chaotic match.
All great points. It’s happened twice in the last few weeks (Acclaimed and Bollywood Boys). I wonder if it has anything to do with AEW’s seamstress retiring?
I doubt it, the newer costumes look really good, I don’t know how involved the seamstress and costume design people are with the day to day matches.
I dunno I think it would be simple enough to bring someone who works for the company down line up 4-6 guys and say can you tell whose on whose side? See what their answer is and why and see how to change it.

Taya has such a bruiser bully style. It’s a nice change of pace.
I really like Taya. Would’ve loved to see her eek out a win there.
I’ve only been watching her since the Death Dollz run in Impact and didn’t necessarily get the hype but she keeps winning me over.

And Death Dollz are great. Rosemary in particular deserves a lot more attention.
I’ve been slacking as of late. They got ravaged by injuries and departures. I’m also a huge Moose fan and didn’t like him losing to Joe Hendry.
I’ll get around to checking it out again at some point.
One of the reasons I love AEW is that they introduce me to all these awesome lucha’s I wouldn’t know about if they didn’t exist. Gravity’s great. And so is the wrestler.
That was Lucha Underground for me. LU got me watching AAA.
I haven’t seen LU…but I feel like I need to. All I’ve ever heard is good things.

Chaotic main event leading to pandemonium causing more questions than answers. Pretty good Dynamite.
I found this week’s to be a bit of a step below the last stretch. They’ve been on a real hot streak though lately so a down week one of these days was sure to come. With all of The Elite getting the week off though and them holding significant MJF/Cole developments for Saturday this was bound to happen. The in-ring action was really good though, as always. Swerve/Darby is such a good pairing that you can never complain about a Wednesday when you get to see them do what they do.
That sign about the Women’s division says it all though regarding them. I can’t help but wonder what the root cause here is, is it a WBD thing by any chance or just a Tony thing? You’ve heard scattered reports over the years about how WBD does have an influence on who gets screentime and whatnot and in ROH you’re seeing a much better booked women’s division. I can’t help but wonder if it’s a WBD directive to limit their minutes due to historically lower ratings for their segments and to focus primarily on the marketable women like Britt/Jade/etc which is hurting the division at large.
Completely agree with you. Very MEH episode. I kept thinking that although not every episode can be great, if I’d paid to go see this show, I would’ve felt let down.
I think you’re right: WBD has a lot to do with the women’s match time. I remember a “report” saying something similar a few months back. I hate to say it, but it also doesn’t help that many of the wrestlers they feature are pretty green.
As for the episode: it wasn’t the best Dynamite…especially coming off Blood and Guts. And It doesn’t help that the two most anticipated matches of the week are both happening on Collision (Tag and Ladder match). I was watching Dynamite but looking past it at the same time, if that makes sense.
