They’re only willing to call out a generation defining genocide with subtle things like this rather than average making a statement that might make a difference.

I swear I’m tearing my hair out at this government, there are several people at a high level, including Albo himself, who seem to have good instincts and want to do good but are so terrified of being called socialist or radical that they end up doing nothing or pushing a conservative platform.

Kushner wants to build beach front houses in Gaza. They will not sell well with the current population.

            https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/mar/19/jared-kushner-gaza-waterfront-property-israel-negev

From resources perspective, Gaza strip has: two land borders, high aquifer that is great for agriculture and sea access that offers both fishing (till the fish population will collapse in few years) and tourism (it’s considered has one of the better looking beaches in the area).

In the Negev there is practically nothing.

Hamas is an Islamisfasitic organization. But with the natural resources available, under proper management, the Gazans may have good economy.

Trump breaks silence on Israel’s military campaign in Gaza: ‘Finish the problem’

Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s national press secretary, said in a statement, adding, "When President Trump is back in the Oval Office, Israel will once again be protected, Iran will go back to being broke, terrorists will be hunted down, and the bloodshed will end.”

Does this make it easier for them or harder do you think?

Gaza is gone. It’s obliterated. Conservative estimates and official counts put the death toll at tens of thousands with research estimating the real figure to be in the hundreds of thousands. Many more hundreds of thousands have fled to Egypt and through Egypt to elsewhere and are never coming back. Hundreds of thousands more are trapped and are being starved. There is over 45 million tonnes of rubble that will take 10 to 15 years or more to remove not to mention toxic waste, unexploded ordinance and bodies. The materials to rebuild don’t exist in Gaza and Israel is not going allow Gaza to be rebuilt for Palestinians.

All of this happened on the Democrats watch, with Democrat support and Democrat supplied armaments. There is no indication from anyone that the Democrats would have changed tact if Harris had won.

The left does care and labor just gained back some ground with a large part of the electorate who were abandoning them. Good work indeed.
