    I often bemoan Lemmy’s irony intolerance but even for me it’s become difficult to sense when someone is being hilarious or simply wrong

    Most voters didn’t vote. The DNC has repeatedly tried meeting people in the middle with no success to show for it.

    The next candidate that pledges to adopt Bernie’s vision will easily win against whoever their opponent happens to be. That’s all Democrats ever have to do.

    Trump won by swaying Tech Billionaires and campaigning directly to citizens on the platforms they use the most about the issues they cared about. As much as I hate it, it was effective af.

    Assuming we ever have a legit election again, we need to look beyond the two party system, otherwise we’re just further dooming ourselves.

      The problem is the DNC wanted to uphold the status quo. They never wanted change. If they did they would’ve run Bernie when they had the chance.
