I’ve just finished tweaking this Leman Russ proxy, inspired by the very original model released for Epic back in the 80s. It’s designed to be easy to print in FDM (no supports required for printing), the one pictured was printed on a stock Ender 3.

I’m fairly happy with how this one turned out, I’ve a little bit of tidying up to do, but hope to have the model up on Cults3D next week.

Very cool! If the Orks got a hold of it, I’m sure they’d but all those barrels on and it’d end up looking like a hedgehog. Actually, that gives me an idea… Let me know when it’s up on cults!

Thanks, I’ve been practicing making models that don’t need supports to print in FDM for a while. It really helps the finished pieces look clean when printed.

Damn, I wish I had the discipline to model taking the future slicing & printing process into account instead of constantly winging it and going “I’ll make it work later idk” lol

Looks like top 7 can be mounted in place of main gun and 5 on the bottom below.

BTW OP this looks amazing, hard to tell what skill is better, 3D modeling, printing or photography :D

The tanks has some generic weapons attached to it in this picture. The rows in front show the other weapons options that will be available, the larger seven can be mounted to the turret and the smaller five can be fitted to the sponsons or hull.
