Because nothing ever happens to cops who abuse their power, that’s why. 99% of the time they get a slap on the wrist for basically murdering people and destroying their lives, and only on rare occasions when there’s media coverage does something get done about it. But we shouldn’t have to rely on media outrage for justice to be done
