This app is called Cocktail recipes-Mixology and it’s pretty good for getting a wide range of drink ideas all in one place. It’s weak point is the quality of the recipes as most are not quite right.
I usually take inspiration from the app but look for a set recipe elsewhere.

I’d say, 1-2 more ounces whiskey, switch the lemon amd the orange, half the simple syrup.
It’s basically a more orangy whiskey sour without the egg white.
Maybe substitute the orange for triple sec, fresh orange is very mellow, triple sec might give you a bit of a clearer orangy flavor…
Honestly, just cut the sugar by like 2/3, and serve it in a Collins glass, and it’ll probably work. Maybe add a couple dashes of Ango
