Definitely in transportation and healthcare. Probably in education once Trump gets rid of the Department of Education.

Hey, maybe the Department of Education just never had anyone in charge with professional wrestling experience. Maybe that’s the change we’ve needed. /s

The US is already falling behind in education. We were ranked about #3 in 2018. We’re now down to #16 as of 2022. That’s a huge slump. Our graduates are performing notably worse than they used to on the international market.

          Lol.

It means we transfer it to the companies in the form of government contracts to give a return of investment to the companies that bribed the politicians. On top of that they don’t pay taxes so it’s really our money they are giving away.

The USA is a third world country. We used to be the best third world country on the planet.

That will devolve as we pass through the one way January 20 gates of no return.

I wonder who will provide the technology. Will they go with China (theoretically fraternal comrades in socialism, though geopolitically Vietnam might want to limit China’s power over it), Japan, South Korea or a European supplier.

AFAIR from my visit a few years ago they had Hyundai ferrys between Phu Quoc and Ha-Tien. The Saigon metro uses Hitachi rolling stock. Their air force uses Czech and even US training aircraft. Apparently they don’t limit themselves by ideology when it comes to critical infrastructure.

Probably China. Projects with other countries fell through and Chinese contractors are likely desperate to do any work now that most of China’s rail network is complete.
