Hey just saw this in New communities and I wanted to share that the first year plus I was with my partner was LD. We’ve been together 7 years now living together for about 5 and are getting married soon. You two can make it!
my partner and I met on a dating site (OKC) In the first half of 2019. I’m from NZ, she Brazil. she flew over to meet me in late August, staying for a month, the flew back to Brazil with us planning for me to go to her next.
then… covid happened.
We spent the next three years doing the long distance thing, with NZs borders finally opening around the middle of 2022. finally she was able to get over here, with a proper visa, around the middle of September. almost four years long distance, and nearly three since the last (and only) time we’d ever met in person.
we’ve since moved into our own house and are both working full time, with lovely kitties as our children. I love her so much ❤️
