          Of course! Personally I think this has a bit more potential than alternative or progressive but it’s one of those things where nothing will ever come close to the original even if it’s good

      Now it is. The first season aired in 2000. Eighteen years after they made new seasons.

      Original creator was only involved in the “first season”, all the way back in 2000. Two new seasons were made in the 2010s when adult swim decided they needed to “bring it back” with a completely new director and animation studio. It wasn’t good, and now they’re committing to two more new seasons.

      Most of us agree that all the follow up seasons are non-cannon and a mess. It distracts from what a good series the original 6-episode OVA was.

    Haven’t watched Alternative & Progressive yet (wasn’t a big fan of the original FLCL either so no high priority), but the CGI looks… not good.

    I couldn’t even watch the whole thing - my cringe meter topped off with Canti in a suit, sounding like a TV weatherman.
