    I always have a somewhat hard time reading Shakespeare. Not because of the language or anything, I’m good with that, but in my head I really get going with the iambic pentameter and so my brain is like “buh-DUM buh-DUM buh-DUM buh-DUM buh-DUM” with the syllables, to the point of not really even following what it actually says.

      Oh I never thought about it, but I have that too! The meter becomes distracting after a while. Like it’s more percussive than melodic.

    “issue” in this context means “offspring,” by the way. “Burthen” is an archaic version of “burden”.

    As we are getting our first day of major snowfall here and I had to scrape ice off my windshield this morning, I had a different initial reaction to the title.

    My absence has been like a winter…because when I showed back up people said, “Aw, not this shit again…”

      By like February I am tired of it, but I find the first snowfalls magical.
