A shame. I’d kind of become a fan of the Taka look and was rooting for Mirage. Ceroptesian is hardly bad, though. I just found it a smidge on the blander scale than Mirage, though I liked it better than Painting, which looked more like something from Ubuntu,
I did make a submission (Cathode), but I freely admit it’s not great.
i don’t think cathode is bad, i find it much more active and with a better philosophy behind than ceratopian, ceratopian looks dull and they just took the shade of trixie, where yours has a lot more of stuff going on, a lot more of color, and the philosophy of debian being the central linux distro, i think many themes could’ve won, but ceratopian is the worst that could’ve won
Honestly, as a busy college student, I’m not sure I could have put in the time to finish it up. Also, rendering the SVG moderately lagged out my computer - I can’t imagine the misery on weaker devices.
The themes are getting more boring with every release.
Which is why I went back to the Debian Squeeze theme.
I love how the boot process is a rocket launch from earth into deep space:Grub background:

I always end up here too. Nothing has come close since that
Looks great! Feels like Book worrm only just came out, or maybe I’m getting old…
Does this mean Debian 13 is close to release?
Will likely release sometime between June-August. My guess would be closer to June.
