    Makes me wish lumber prices weren’t so high. That slab alone would probably run me $300 rough cut here

      I do agree, from the country where I am from, wood prices have almost doubled after covid. Moreover there is not much forest cover left here. So, most of it and various wood types are imported from other countries.
