It’s important to note many of these studies involved self-reported coffee consumption, and the research was funded by the Institute for Scientific Information of Coffee – a non-profit organization supported by major international coffee companies.
Reminds me of all the studies how a glass of wine also extended life that appeared nonstop in the news for the past two decades.
Which was research paid for by big Wine companies.
a cup of coffee (or four)
Being able to afford coffees and living in places where coffee is consumed regularly extends your lifespan. Why do these studies never control for those variables.
Depends who their control group was. Probably people from the same area who don’t drink coffee.

I’d rather not waste my money. It’s had it’s fair chance.
so you never found any tasty coffee?
I wouldn’t have made my comments if I did.
have you tried a lot of coffee?
Enough
so people that don’t like coffee should continue not to drink it?
I read this as “Enough! Leave me alone about coffee.” And it it cracked me up.
I’ll propose that a nice Guatemalan Antigua is a great starting place. Just cuz.
