I guess the US isn’t the only one who chooses to make criminals of our most desperate citizens.
I have slightly more faith in our courts in upholding our rights to life and liberty here in Canada, than those in the US.
BC and ON supreme courts have overturned complete encampment bans, and judicially set aside places homeless people can put even just a cover over their heads. Compare to the Grants Pass case.
I wasn’t really speaking to the implantation but to the sentiment that rather than finding a solution to the problem some choose to erase the result.
