Summary

Meta has donated $1 million to Trump’s inaugural fund, months after Trump publicly threatened CEO Mark Zuckerberg with “life in prison” during the campaign.

The donation follows a recent meeting between Trump and Zuckerberg at Mar-a-Lago and reflects Meta’s complicated relationship with Trump, from aiding his 2016 campaign through Facebook ads to suspending his accounts after the Jan. 6 Capitol attack.

With Trump poised to shape tech regulation and antitrust policies, Meta’s donation may signal efforts to navigate the administration’s potential impact.

    “Donation”

Someone bought $1M of something behind closed doors. Plus a sweet tax write-off.

Don’t hold me to this but I heard a rumor that Mark had to get on his knees and kiss Trumps ring.

He ain’t going to be the only one. US President can threaten anyone with impunity, the courts have already shown that.

Meta gave the donation, not Zuck personally? Somehow that seems extra sleezy. Not only a payoff, but using someone else’s money to do it.

Somebody ask him if he sees any more of those Mar-a-largo documents the FBI is looking for while he’s up that ass.
