Dude has not said one thing about Canadian politics but how much he dislikes trudeau. He just wants to be in at the same time his pal trump get in. That’s it. He doesn’t give a damn about Canada as far as I have seen.
I think he also wants to get in before the trade war starts. It will negatively impact his campaign if Canadians are actively pissed with trump, and therefore trump’s admirers.
Sounds like the same playbook as Trump and Le Pen.

I have no idea. At this point, it could be either. Maybe it’s part of what’s clearly a coherent and highly successful campaign to destabilize western governments with these tactics, or else maybe copycats have noticed how well it works and started doing it of their own accord.
I know basically nothing of Canadian politics, but maybe I should start familiarizing myself.
