That’s usually done to keep folks from buying that specific version in leu of the preferred reasonably priced versions.
I once saw a delivery option for a smallish clothing company:
- hang delivered by the owner, guaranteed to fit or tailored on the spot. $1000
I thought that was crazy
For some people, money is just a number and the difference between $10 and $1000 is nothing. Sad but true.

Normally the digital album is the cheapest option.
