Well, what McDonough said on the broadcast is certainly true – this game has been a bit of a disappointment. I did think it would be less of a blowout than this
The final score is INCREDIBLY flattering to Indiana, and not a reflection of the dominance ND had over Indiana. Only for the lack of better play calling in the red zone by ND kept his score from being a blow out that it was in reality.
This game is going the way I thought it would (currently 17-3, with ND in red zone). Indiana has done a GREAT JOB building the program in one year. But there’s no way they can build a top physical O-line or D-line in one year. Their ranking is very over-rated.
Go Irish. Happy to get the playoff monkey off our backs.

Don’t forget the refs, from forgetting to change the down marker, calling off targeting because the game was over, to standing around multiple times in an effort to make the game 5 hours long.
