Since each Tokyo Disney Resort park opened, they have both had their own version of Christmas festivities. That is, until COVID. By the time Christmas 2020 rolled around, OLC had reopened the parks, but the parades and decorations were extremely scaled back compared to 2019. (The somber hilarity of the Tokyo Disneyland Christmas parade being exactly one float featuring Santa and lasting less than five minutes.)
Now, Tokyo Disney Resort is back to full power, but the major holidays have been streamlined so that both parks (beyond their unique venues and stages) now have roughly the same event.
Which Japanese park do you prefer for a Christmas holiday?
It can be in general or a specific celebration from the past or present, which Disney Christmas do you like the most?
The more family-friendly and generic pop culture Christmas of Tokyo Disneyland, with a ground parade featuring Santa Claus and/or Mickey Claus, The classic Christmas tunes of the holiday version of the Country Bear Jamboree, The Nightmare Before Christmas edition of The Haunted Mansion, the Christmas version of Electrical Parade Dreamlights, and the giant Christmas tree in the center of the World Bazaar.
Or the slightly more mature musical performances and water show of Tokyo DisneySea, with more elegantly decorated buildings and Aquasphere Plaza, the special Christmas performance of Big Band Beat, and the nighttime Christmas water show?
