I refused to watch arcane because I don’t care about lol. Then I watched it and holy fuck now I know why everybody was talking about it.

I started watching Arcane because I loved the visual style and animation, but damn, it was a good story, too. Still, it’s a safe bet that I’ll never play LoL.

League is plagued by the nature of the game breeding toxicity, but there’s a lot of care put into the lore of the world and Arcane basically took that ran with it, it’s completely separate from the experience of playing the games and can and should be enjoyed separately from it.

The funny thing is I probably couldn’t get through all of Arcane because I had played 10 years before and still bitter about the toxic experience.
