I’ve been wondering about this for a little while now. Us regularish working class folks can technically participate in the stock market and benefit from the same gains that rich folks can, traditionally, that is. What happens when wealth gets concentrated enough that the rich don’t need our 401k contributions anymore, and can shut us out via private capital and backroom deals? It kind of feels like that’s how we transition from late stage capitalism to neo-feudalism
