My desk is very messy. I thought it was just “average” clutter but a colleague made a comment the other day that changed my feelings on it.

I have a sit/stand desk, so I need drawers that can attach to the underside…

I’ve decided to design some and make them with my 3D printer. I have to split it into 4 parts as it is too big to print it all in one go.

I’ve printed three of the parts, and just restarted the 4th print as it failed aboit an hour into the seven hour print job.

I hope your drawers work well for you ☺️ I always find my workspaces also get really chaotic pretty easily, but I find it a little bit theraputic sometimes to stop and set everything back in its place and make spots for things before returning to what I’m doing :)

I’ve discovered the “Gridfinity” system of organisation with 3D printed customisable modular bins, so I’m looking forward to using that to tidy up…

Aw hell yeah! If you’re not familiar with the creator’s youtube channel, Zach Friedman on YouTube is fucking amazing

(I feel like there’s a good chance you already know him, but I’d be sad if I missed an opportunity to express how delightful he is and recommend his channel)

I’m a sit/stander too. Would be nice to see how the under desk drawers work out.

Why does the word drawers seem so weird It’s like I’ve never seen it spelled and used this way.

Here are the first two… I like the sparkly black and orange aesthetic more, but the Prusa filament is 2x the price of the Overture grey I usually use.

I was very surprised that my idea for a handle worked at all (let alone first go), so the file was saved with the name: “ICantBelieveThisActuallyWorked-Handle.stl”
