Is this a “US soldiers are poorly equipped” joke, where two US soldiers are making a Nazi surrender? I don’t think that message is very well thought out.
Nah, a “US soldiers have sticky fingers and a swapper’s soul” joke, from a cartoonist who did a lot of contemporary cartoons on the struggles of yer common infantryman in WW2.
