Not a native speaker here but according to Linsley, “for” would be reduced to the weak form while “four” wouldn’t be.

My NZ accent would pronounce both the same.
He’s right! But it’s not a 100% thing and could be spoken the same way without sounding weird as long as you don’t put much emphasis on it.
