The all-time leading scorer in international football (men or women) probably just finished her career without a goal at the World Cup. There will be a lot of questions about whether she should have even played, but she played. Canada must now move on with a disappointing exit in the group stage.

Fuck Rubiales, he would rather ruin Spain’s chance at a World Cup then admit the players were right about that useless unprofessional cunt Vilda.

Very happy for Japan though, amazing result and I’m always happy when fellow Asian countries do well.

Holy hell, what a day of games! I’ve been impressed with Japan since their first game, but I didn’t expect them to shut down Spain the way they did. The way they controlled the midfield through defense was, frankly, terrifyingly beautiful.

I have to feel good about Australia’s performance, but bummed for Canada at the same time. That was a tough group.

Probably waking up at 2am for the US game tomorrow

So, one of the activities I found fun during the last World Cup was making a “tier list” of how attractive each player on the USMNT is

Would such an activity be appropriate for the women, or is the patriarchy/sexism too strong for this to be palatable?

Best to err on the safe side imo. There’s already a lot of misogyny about the women’s game, and a post like this could be seen as adding to it.

I’d say logical consistency dictates it’s fine if you do that.
