I’ve mostly been killing Vardorvis because I think it’s fun and challenging, but in the last 5 kills I’ve made a total of 25k (mith javelins, lots of lava runes, etc.) and definitely burned more than that in supplies. Maybe it’s a skill issue, but I am definitely in the hole quite a bit when death costs are so high and it’s super easy to die at Vard.

Definitely a GWD type table where all the money is in virtus and ring drops. They don’t get melted like the GWD bosses which is the difference. I like them though

Yeah it doesnt seem like they were really created to rival Vorkath/Zulrah/Muspah in gp/hr. So far Ive only tried Vardorvis and Duke post quest, and I’m a long way from recouping the death costs when i get 5-10k worth of runes every kill

Some bosses have high ticket drops, some have consistent money drops. Having both would be broken.

I think jagex will be modifing the loot table for how tough these bosses seem. It’ll be interesting what they do with the new loot drop mechanic for the ring where you get a ring (vestige?) after rolling the ring 3 times.

I’ve heard that the value of your loot depends on how ‘perfect’ you are at killing it. If you sturggle with it, you won’t be rewarded as much.

It’s 50% more normal loot as far as we know, probably doesn’t affect uniques.

Tbh it seems more like Phosani’s than consistent gp, rings are probably like 1/500-1k and Virtus is probably around 1/200 or something…
