Antony Vo, 32, was sentenced to nine months behind bars and ordered to report to a federal prison on 14 June 2024, but instead he fled to Canada.

Vo, from Indiana, was convicted at a jury trial in Washington of four counts of entering a restricted building and disorderly conduct related to his actions.

“I knew Canada has a history of being welcoming to refugees, from Vietnam war draft-dodgers to the people who hid Edward Snowden in Hong Kong,” he told AFP.

“So I packed up my snowboarding gear and drove across the border.”

We are trying. They just keep getting this idea that since Canada is part of the reason why the Geneva Conventions exist then these people think they will be welcome there.

It’s going to be very amusing when Trump doesn’t pardon any of these traitors. I know he’s said he intends to pardon them, but lets be real here, it’s more of a concept of a pardon.

I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t. It’s a painless (for him) way to placate his magats and point at a promise he’s kept that cost him nothing.

It costs him nothing, but it also gains him nothing tangible. Instead, he will ask for direct payments before pardoning any of those folks. He’ll say something like “If you want this person pardoned, buy one of my NFTs and tag the name of the person on the blockchain, the top 10 names will get a pardon”.

It’s a direct abuse of power, but is totally legal, as long as half the House and at least 34 Senators are cut in on the grift don’t impeach him over it.

It gains him flexing his presidential “muscles” for that dopamine rush, and I think we all know how important that is to him. He’s already got these dopes buying gold shoes and trump bibles, every time he pulls some outrageous bullshit sales go up. There will be some commemorative coin minted for the release of these patriots that will get sold and net him a few more million.

I envision a website where you can get a Trump Bible and a pardon all in the same transaction. And you’ll pay far out the ass.

After Biden pardoned Hunter Democrats no longer have any moral high ground to stand on. Trump can pardon whomener he pleases without fear of repercussions.
