Converted kitchen faucet from a three-hole separate hot and cold fixture to a single lever handle with hose attachment.

First plumbing project I’ve done. Installed it the first time and forgot a rubber gasket so it kept leaking. Freaked out a bit but I remembered the gasket and sure enough thing stopped leaking.

It’s a pretty good looking faucet.

One thing I have learned about plumbing is that sometimes you put everything together correctly and it still leaks. Then you take it apart, put it back together exactly the same way, and it doesn’t leak. This seems to be normal.

Think it’s often to do with rubber gaskets and whatnot not being exactly in place the first time but it’s hard to notice on the outside when it’s all put together.

The next upgrade could be an under sink RO unit. I always hired a company to do it in LA when I moved cause the price was the same as just buying a unit, but not here in Michigan. Plumbers didn’t want that job so I did it myself and it was surprisingly easy. I’ll save the plumber for the outside jobs now.

Reverse Osmosis, it’s a water filter like what the water company uses. I like it cause I just have to replace the filters every year and get unlimited purified water. They are cheap too. Under $300

I didn’t even think to take a picture!

Was too busy washing a bunch of things with my hose attachment I guess…

This was the first plumbing project I did too. I made many a mistake that day but eventually sorted it through the tenacity of me needing to get it done or I no longer have a kitchen tap.
