Hi, on the Server>Libraries>Metadata Tab I can select the default preferred metadata language. It also says that “These are your defaults and can be customized on a per-library basis.”
But where do I actually find these settings? Is it the “Preferred download language:” dropdown when editing a library? Nothing there says it’s related to metadata

Yes, it is the preferred download language setting. The download it refers to is the metadata. We should make that clearer.
Go into the Dashbopard and then Libraries. At this point you have different tabs, choose the one named Metadata. You should find what you need there
This just sets the default metadata language, but not on a per-library basis
I believe it is the “Preferred download language” yes.
