I’ve always enjoyed the production/processing on it. It’s an amazingly well mixed album for the time, I’ve never checked but I’d believe there is minimal clipping in it.
The very first CD I ever bought. It’ll always be special for that reason, but I think it has held up well.
stole it from my dad, would be an island pick
the best peach is at the top of that tree.
An iconic 90s album for me. Loved seeing them on the VH1 Top Ten in the morning when I was getting ready for school, even though the single (“One Headlight”) was pretty somber. The next single (“The Difference”) and “Laughing Out Loud” are both more up-tempo and fun. It’s definitely one of those albums where I listen to the whole thing straight through.
One Headlight & 6th Avenue Heartache have been in constant rotation since the 1990s.
That was a good album
I give it 3 Marlenas.
One Headlight is a great song that’s still in my playlist. For some reason I’ve never listened to any of their other music.
Solid mid-90s song. Haven’t heard it in years but always liked it. Brings back memories.
Yeah, I hadn’t heard it for years, and then Spotify randomly played it one day, and I added it to my 90’s playlist. It often makes me feel nostalgic, and takes me back in time.
ive never heard it ill check it out monday
It’s good if a bit meandering. It’s like he took his father’s song writing ability and said, “but without the meaning.”
Yeah but he can sing
Oh, no doubt. I still have that entire album memorized. It was just later in life that I realized how empty a lot of the lyrics were.
Josephene is a jam
Great album
Very good band at the times, I remember the single everywhere first in the US then in IT, but almost 30 years later I can’t remember any other song of the CD
