    What’s the value on something like this? Did they have standard ring sizes back then, or was everything custom made?

      Not sure about the exact value of this, but it almost certainly would’ve been custom made. Mass-produced jewelry of this period would be unlikely to have been made of gold, as far as I know. I’m no expert on ancient jewelry, though.

        I’ve wanted to purchase an ancient ring to wear for quite some time now, but I don’t know how to spot a fake, and I definitely don’t want to overspend on something made in modern times.

          Ah. Well, if you’re interested in antiquities, know that most legitimate ones will come with proof of their provenance - being bought and sold over the years, where it’s been, where it originated, etc. Other than that, you’re in unknown territory - I’ve never had the opportunity to get into owning antiquities myself!
