Transnistria is completely dependent on its neighbors playing nice. These pro Russian separatists are suffering because of Putin’s ambitious imperialistic invasion. Kinda sucks for them.
And they are blaming everyone else for this even though the date of the shut off has been known for months.
They’ve literally had decades to come up with a solution to their problems and everyone involved in the position to do anything either both internally and externally seems to be fine with maintaining the status quo.
I saw a documentary in 2005 about Transnistria being a breakaway state. It’s actually been happening since it was still part of of the Soviet Union.
