There are two more modern sequels. I liked 2, but 3 was way too hard.
Also, Fallout 1 was basically a remake of Wasteland when it was still isometric and team-based.

Definitely entertaining! They re-released the original trilogy when they put out the most recent installment, and there are several communities with walkthroughs and tips/ tricks. About as close to tabletop D&D as you can get, on a linear path of course.
It sure sucked in a lot of my time.

This always bothered me as a kid.
I always thought they were chopped oak trees, because of the professor’s name and all. It’s funny how kid logic just connects things and you never even think about the conclusions until asked about them.
Yeah, it seems like some really heavy duty material to make fences out of, whatever it’s supposed to be.

Funny, during my break I hijacked my two year old’s tablet to play Pokemon Blue that I snuck on there when we prepped it for our family trip. Initially I just didn’t want her becoming a tablet zombie kid, but I can confirm that playing through Pokemon Blue during the holidays indeed takes you to a happier place.
Honestly, I started playing it about once a year once I stopped being too cool to enjoy myself over a decade ago.
There’s something nice about not having daily rewards or gacha or always online DRM. Just me and my team. I probably wouldn’t do Blue every year, but a healthy return to 90s gaming is refreshing.

I turned on In Stars and Time briefly, and the opening area has the most palette-town-ass song I’ve heard in a loong time. It was cute.
