Another snowy post from my most recent visit. These were taken just as the sun rose.

Best part of the Harry Potter films is the smug looking snowy owl sitting in the background.
Thinking about how Rowling is now, it’s mildly ironic that so many male Snowies played the role of Hedwig, who is supposed to be a lady owl.
It’s so fun picking out all the owls in media now that doing this has my brain so sensitized to finding owl content. It feels so many shows and movies have owls and owl sounds in them. I don’t know what wild animal could be realistically featured in such a wide range of genres besides and owl. They are just so great at conveying a number of moods just by their presence.
