I just finished watching Skip and Loafer, which aired this most recent spring season. I’m here to tell you: you should watch it too!

It’s a coming of age story about a girl moving from the countryside to Tokyo to go to a better high school. It’s full of heart-warming moments as these kids become friends and try to figure out how they should interact with the world.

The characters, story, animation, and sound are all fantastic. The show brings a comforting warmth, with a little drama to keep things interesting. Don’t let this show pass you by!

I read a bit of the manga and it didn’t really made me want to keep on reading, but I have a feeling the anime adaptation may be different. I’ll watch it.

P.A. Works generally does a really good job with these female-lead coming-of-age series. (HanaIro, Aquatope).
IMO, the characters have a lot of soul in the adaptation. It led me to buy all the available physical volumes (ENG) to see what happens next in the story.

I instantly fell in love with Skip and Loafer. It’s so good.

Nao is also so very adorable, and hot. I really love how affectionate they are.
