Google Photos is bringing back the ability to automatically share photos, screenshots, and downloads from third-party apps with your partners.
Please, please, please remove the restriction on sharing photos which are “already in the conversation”.
If I shared a pic 6 years ago, it’s not ridiculous that I might want to share it again with the same person.
Holy shit, I just noticed this last week and it ruined an entire trips worth of photos. I posted on Google forums and called them out and it changed?!?
You can chalk it up to coincidence but I’m going to go with the story Google totally listened to a concerned user and considered the impact of their arbitrary, whimsical decision to degrade a product with no advance communication, and decided to destroy it to benefit users.
