A man who takes his snakes to his local public park sparks a debate about what animals are acceptable in public spaces.
I agree with him, if people can take dogs out in public why not snakes (as long as not venomous).
If it’s on a leash sure but having dogs off leashes isn’t allowed here either unless it’s a designated zone.
Where’s here? Most places I’ve been are ok with dogs off lead.
If it’s on a leash
Not sure how you’d go about putting a leash on a snake
I assume you can’t just tie the end of the snake to something?
Maybe we’re overthinking this, the snake IS a leash!
Chinese finger trap style device?
leashes
That’s leads here, Uncle Sam!
I fucking love this country (sometimes)
As long as he picks their shit up and deposits it in a designated receptacle 🤷♂️
Most of the receptacles in my area specifically say “Dog Waste Only” How can I locate my nearest snake waste bin?
Hmm, this might be when we realise that we have to turn against this public menace.
I’d be worried some dog would maul the snake.
Another pondered what newspaper headline writers would make of the snakes going for a ride on the park’s miniature railway, while someone else opened up a second front in the debate by claiming to have once seen people with ferrets in the park.
They did a real life Monty Python sketch.
