Note that his family did not directly suffer from the Holocaust. His parents emigrated to Palestine in 1920. If anything his father, who was an ardent Zionist, which is why he moved there in the first place, was able to use it to his benefit.

Very much so. Netanyahu wasn’t even the family name, which was a Polish name. His father changed it to something that sounded more fitting for someone wanting to claim some sort of heritage they were not owed.
