    For some reason I can’t figure out, I can’t access your community from kbin. https://kbin.social/m/[email protected] is a 404, despite this working for other communities on the same server. I wonder if there could be a difference in length limit, since the name is so long?

    At any rate, I created @Waterloo ([email protected], https://kbin.social/m/Waterloo) for the Waterloo region. Consistent with the Reddit sub of the same name, that includes the entire region. Kitchener and Waterloo are practically one city (as well as Cambridge to a slightly lesser degree).

    Are these just cities listed by population, or a list of actual communities? For example, Oshawa is listed but no link and I couldn’t find the community, but Vaughan is listed and there is a community: https://lemmy.ca/c/vaughan
